Post Adoption Vet Check
We're so happy you've decided to adopt from WVHS and want to make sure you have the best future with your pet possible. Please use the form below if you are a recent adopter or a current foster of one of our pets and need assistance from our clinic.
Please fill out the form below to request a basic physical examination and support for your pet. This service is available for adopted pets within 14 days of adoption, animals that have undergone spay/neuter services at our clinic, and animals in foster with the shelter. Our dedicated staff will perform routine checks for minor concerns, such as 'kennel cough,' feline upper respiratory infections, or spay/neuter incision checks. Please note that this service does not replace regular care or examination with your veterinarian for more complex health issues. Please be prepared to upload a photo of your pet and your drivers license or government issued ID.
For all emergency situations, please contact your private vet or an emergency vet clinic. If this situation is not an emergency, but more urgent in nature. Please submit this form and also call the shelter at 208-455-5920 to inform staff of the situation.
