Encouragement to Exercise Due Diligence We advocate and encourage that all pet owners who have a lost pet use due diligence towards those ends of finding your pet. West Valley Humane Society is not responsible for finding your pet. The information contained herein is meant to be a resource. It is not exhaustive, nor does it indicate an endorsement or recommendation from West Valley Humane Society that we are in any manner responsible for finding your pet. We have made available this lost and found system to assist you in your search for your lost pet. However, please use your own due diligence in researching these sources and making the best choice for your pet(s). You can create a lost report at the shelter with specific details and it will be added to our Community Lost Animals Page, which will then appear in the I frame near the bottom of this page. Stray animals are held at West Valley Humane Society for 5 business days, excluding weekends & holidays, so we recommend, and advocate, that you look for your pet every two to four days. Filling out a Lost Animal Report does not mean you should stop coming to the shelter to look for your pet. Stray animals come into the shelter on a daily basis. We also highly advocate that you also continue to monitor the lost and found page of our website on a daily basis. You are responsible for finding your pet. If you still need assistance after reviewing the information on our website, please email wvhs.lostandfound@gmail.com.
