Pet of the Week 1 year old BLAZE is a tan and white Hound dog mix. He is medium size, weighs 48 pounds and his short coat is easy to care for. BLAZE is a nice, came to us as a stray. He is most likely housetrained from what we have observed. He has very nice leash manners. He is a playful boy, but also loving and give kisses. He will make a great family dog! He loves to play in the water! BLAZE is current on his vaccinations, micro- chipped, and will be neutered. Come in and meet him today. He seems to have a friendly interest in other dogs. As always, bring in the whole family and other household dogs for a meet and greet prior to any adoption. Our trained staff will properly introduce everyone and help get a good start to a furever family! !  .       .     .
We like to see our dogs adopted into safe homes that are a good fit for the family, the dog and with any other dogs or cats that may be in the home. We do meet and greets here at the shelter to make sure that all the dogs get along. Our adoption specialist, Julie, is here to help facilitate this process. To better help us serve you towards these ends we ask that our visitors fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire. You can click on the following link to download one if you like or fill out one here at the shelter when considering to adopt a new dog. Pre-Adoption link

WE ARE OFFERING BOTH DOGS FOR THE ADOPTION FEE OF $125! **** Both of them know sit and lay down. They likes some dogs, not all, so a meet & greet with your dog prior to adoption is required. They have lived among and like children, They are active and energetic. Both need an energetic family to spend time with them. They love treats and toys. These brothers have been outside dogs and need warm housing in the winter, cool shade on hot days. And of course as always, dogs need a securely fenced yard to run and play. Bring the whole family, including dogs, for a "meet and greet" before adoption. Choosing a new pet is a big decision and we want to make sure everyone is compatible and set forever!
